As we continue to expand, we are looking for passionate individuals to fill key positions within our team. Here are the currently open roles:
President of the Board
Introduction: As the President, you will chair the board of LKTBF, ensuring that our mission and vision are upheld. You will oversee partnerships, plans, financial obligations, and organisational status.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to mission and values, foster relationships with stakeholders, act as an ambassador, monitor performance against KPIs, drive growth and impact.
Performance Expectations: Chair board meetings, represent LKTBF publicly, evaluate strategic plans and reports, approve budgets and transactions, evaluate partnerships and projects.
Character Traits: Strong leadership and strategic thinking, extensive network in volleyball and beyond, excellent communication skills, committed to transparency and good governance.
Expected Time Required: 3-4 hours per week.
Captain of Connections
Introduction: This role focuses on building and managing partnerships, events, and fundraisers to promote positive change through volleyball.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement fundraising and partnership strategies, build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors, stay updated on fundraising trends, represent LKTBF at events.
Performance Expectations: Execute strategic plans and budgets, meet fundraising goals, maintain positive stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance, manage team, provide regular updates.
Character Traits: Passionate about LKTBF’s mission, strategic thinker, excellent communicator, results-driven.
Expected Time Required: 2-4 hours per week.
Scout (Events & Fundraising)
Introduction: This role focuses on identifying potential event/partnership opportunities and supporting LKTBF fundraising efforts to amplify our mission.
Key Responsibilities: Scout and identify relevant events, assist in planning fundraising activities, collaborate with the team to secure sponsors, and provide logistical support for events.
Performance Expectations: Identify and help execute event opportunities, contribute to fundraising success, maintain event timelines, and report progress.
Character Traits: Organised, proactive, team player, detail-oriented.
Expected Time Required: 1-3 hours per week.
Social Media Team
Roles: Social media specialist, copywriter, or video editor.
Responsibilities: Manage LKTBF’s social media presence, create engaging content, enhance visibility and engagement.
Expected Time Required: 1-3 hours per week.
Internship Opportunities with LKTBF
